About
Welcome – I'm Dominika, a Counsellor and Psychotherapist
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor, offering sessions in both English and Polish. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), working in line with their ethical frameworks to ensure safe and professional practice.
My approach is person-centred, meaning that your individual needs, values, and goals are at the heart of our work together. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I am here to support you in discovering and unlocking your full potential.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or other emotional challenges, I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore your thoughts and emotions, deepen your self-awareness, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. It’s a brave step, and I am here to support you with empathy, respect, and professionalism every step of the way. My goal is to help you build a more meaningful and fulfilling life, both within yourself and in your relationships with others.
If you feel ready to begin your journey toward healing and personal growth, I invite you to reach out. I look forward to working with you.

COUNSELLING SERVICES
Guidance On Every Step of the Way
The loss of a loved one can be devastating and it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed by grief. Bereavement counselling is a type of psychotherapy that helps people deal with the pain of loss and find a way to move forward. Grief is a deeply personal process, and as a psychotherapist I can provide a supportive and understanding environment in which to explore and process the emotions associated with bereavement. As there is no “right” way to grieve, I can also provide guidance and resources on how to cope with bereavement. Additionally, I can offer assistance in finding ways to create new meaning and purpose after experiencing a loss.

BEREAVEMENT
Quality Care
Mental health is an integral part of overall physical health and wellness. It is a state of well-being in which an individual can cope with the everyday stresses of life, work productively, and contribute to his or her community. Mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and more, can significantly impact one's daily functioning and general quality of life.
Mental health is often determined by various psychosocial, physical, spiritual, and biological factors. Counselling provides individuals with the opportunity to understand their illnesses better and to find new strategies to cope with their symptoms.

MENTAL HEALTH
You Are Not Alone
Counselling for individuals can be an important part of managing mental health and understanding yourself. It is a way to support, explore and gain insight into your feelings, and can help you to find new ways of thinking and coping with life’s challenges, identify the patterns of your thoughts and behaviour, and find tools to empower your daily lives.
It is important to note that counselling is not about giving advice or telling someone what to do. Rather, it is about creating a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their stories, fears and concerns without judgement or criticism, so individuals can build trust and confidence in themselves, discover their inner strength and resources, and find the courage to make lasting changes.
